オーストラリア交換留学を終えて 進学選抜コース3年 鶴岡 澪

During my stay in Australia, I was staying with my host family. I had been taken good care of by them. They are such nice people. They treated me like a member of the family. I often played with my host sister and brother. My host family took me to Canberra, which is the Capital of Australia. It has become one of my unforgettable memories.
While I was in Australia , I used to go to the high school called Central Coast Grammar School which is a big private school. There are many students from preschool to high school. One difference from Japanese school is the time table. The students in Australia have two long recess times everyday. One is between period 2 and 3. They eat snacks and play outside then. The other is lunch time after period 4. They bring their lunch or buy some food from the canteen.
The high school students in Australia have many elective subjects. So, they have to move to other class rooms according to their time table.
I also used to belong to the netball team of our school. Netball is a very Australian sport which is like basketball. I enjoyed it a lot. I made a lot of friends at school and I have been keeping in touch with them.
Anyway, I really appreciate the many great people such as my teachers, host family, and friends. Thanks to them, I had a valuable experience and my English has improved.
Thank you so much for giving me such an opportunity.
