今年で36期目となる本校の姉妹校であるCentral Coast Grammar Schoolへ5名の長期、17名の短期、合計22名の生徒が出発しました！
雷と大雨が轟く中、羽田空港集合から搭乗までヒヤッとすることもありましたが無事シドニーへ到着！税関もスムーズに通過でき、ミルソンズポイントでオペラハウスとハーバーブリッジをバックに集合写真！
学校へ着くと生徒達が歓迎してくれました！昨年本校に長期留学した生徒も2週間前まで本校で短期留学していた多くの生徒達もみんな久しぶりの再会でした！
生徒の中には英語が通じなくて悔しい気持ちもあると思いますが、その経験をしに来ているのです。当たって砕けろの精神で頑張りましょう！
🇦🇺 CCGS Australia Study Tour Begins! ✈️🌏
Our 36th exchange program with our sister school, Central Coast Grammar School (CCGS), is officially underway! 🇯🇵🤝🇦🇺
This year, 22 Kanto Daiichi students have embarked on their Australian adventure—5 students for the four-week exchange program and 17 students for the short-term study tour.
Despite thunderstorms and heavy rain causing a few anxious moments on the way to Haneda Airport, everyone arrived safely in Sydney! ☔✈️ After a smooth trip through immigration and customs, we stopped at Milsons Point for our group photo, with the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background. 📸🌉
When we arrived at CCGS, we received a warm welcome from the students. It was especially heartwarming to see many familiar faces—students who studied at Kanto Daiichi last year, as well as those who had just completed their short-term program in Japan only two weeks ago. It truly felt like a reunion of old friends. ❤️
Later, after meeting their host families, everyone returned to school in the evening for a BBQ with around 100 students, families, and staff! 🍖🔥
Some students may already feel frustrated because communicating in English isn't as easy as they hoped. But that's exactly why they're here.
Every conversation, every mistake, and every challenge is part of the learning experience. Don't be afraid to take risks, keep trying, and enjoy every opportunity to grow.
