日の出と日の入りを見に近くのビーチに行った。ELENA FAIRからバスと電車をつかって帰ってきた。
We went to beach and watched sunrise and sunset near the house. We used bus and train first time from ELENA FAIR.
【1年4組 鴨打 侑理】
日曜日にホストファミリーとルナパークにいったことが印象深かったです。日本では見たことのないようなアトラクションがあり、全体的にジェットコースターが多いと感じました。ルナパークで一番速いジェットコースターは本当に速くて加速してから一瞬で終わったのでびっくりしました。最初にそれにのったのでその後のアトラクションが遅く感じました。とても楽しかったのですが、とても疲れて帰りは車でぐっすりみんなで寝てました。
Going to Luna Park with my host family on Sunday was a memorable experience. There were attractions unlike anything I had ever seen in Japan, and I felt that the park featured a lot of roller coasters overall. The fastest roller coaster there was incredibly quick; it accelerated and the ride was over in a flash, which really took me by surprise. Since I rode that one first, the subsequent attractions felt slow by comparison. I had a great time, but I was also exhausted, so we all fell fast asleep in the car on the way home.

ショッピングモールでオデュッセイアとスパイダーマンをホストファミリーと観に行って、オーストラリアの映画館を体験することができた。全部英語で難しかったけど、ダイナミックで観てて楽しかった。ずっと食べたかったヨーチを食べれてめっちゃ最高でした。
I went to the shopping mall to see Odyssey and Spider-Man with my host family and was able to experience Australian cinema. It was all difficult in English, but it was fun to watch it dynamically. It was great to eat Yo-chi, which I've always wanted to eat.

今日はタロンガ動物園に行きました。
学校からバスでマンリーまで行き、海を見た後にご飯を食べました。私たちはみんなハンバーガーとポテトを食べました。外でみんなと一緒に食べたので、とても美味しかったです。
その後、マンリーからシドニーの中心まで船に乗り、さらにシドニーからタロンガ動物園まで船で行きました。風が強くて寒かったですが、船に乗る機会はあまりないので、とても良い経験になりました。
動物園では、アザラシや鳥のショーを見たり、コアラやウォンバット、ライオンなど、たくさんの動物を見ました。日本では見ることのできない動物を見ることができて、とても楽しかったです。
また、船からオペラハウスを見ることができたり、動物園でコアラやカンガルー、クオッカを見たりして、とてもオーストラリアらしさを感じる一日になりました。
Today, I went to Taronga Zoo.
First, we took a bus from school to Manly. We looked at the ocean and then had lunch. We all ate hamburgers and French fries. It was delicious because we ate outside together.
After that, we took a ferry from Manly to the center of Sydney, and then another ferry to Taronga Zoo. It was windy and cold, but it was a great experience because I don’t often get to ride a ferry.
At the zoo, we watched the seal and bird shows. We also saw many animals, such as koalas, wombats, and lions. I really enjoyed seeing animals that I can’t see in Japan.
I also saw the Sydney Opera House from the ferry and saw koalas, kangaroos, and quokkas at the zoo. It was a day that really made me feel like I was in Australia.

こっちにきて最初の土曜日で、1日に二回誕生日パーティーの予定があって、まず日本で誕生日パーティーを友達同士でし合うことがなかなかないからとても新鮮でした。
一回目の誕生日パーティーはゲームセンターでやって、ゲームセンターの個室でみんなでカップケーキを食べました。カップケーキが海外の味だなっていう甘さで、たべるのが結構きつかったです。
二回目の誕生日パーティーは、イタリアンレストランでみんなでご飯を食べたあとに、チュロス屋さんでチュロスを食べながら誕生日プレゼントを渡して、みんなでお話をしました。
It was my first Saturday since I came here, and I had two birthday parties on the same day!
In Japan, it’s not very common for friends to have birthday parties for each other, so it felt really new and exciting to me.
The first birthday party was held at an arcade. We ate cupcakes together in a private room at the arcade. The cupcakes were so sweet that they really tasted like something from overseas, so they were pretty difficult for me to eat.
The second birthday party was at an Italian restaurant. After having dinner together, we went to a churros shop. We gave the birthday presents there, ate churros, and talked together.
