Today, our CCGS students joined their buddies in cleaning the classrooms after school! 🧽🪣
Did you know that one of the most unique features of Japanese schools is that students clean their own classrooms every day?
Instead of relying on custodial staff, students work together to sweep the floors, wipe the desks, and keep their learning environment clean. It's a tradition that is quite rare in many other countries.
This daily routine teaches much more than just cleaning. From a young age, students learn to take care of the spaces they use, respect shared property, and appreciate what they have. These values help foster responsibility, gratitude, and consideration for others.
Perhaps this is one of the reasons why Japan is known around the world for its clean schools and streets. 🇯🇵💙
Sometimes, the most valuable lessons aren't found in textbooks—they're learned through everyday actions.
