NZ Orewaターム留学の集大成として、在オークランド日本国総領事館の箕谷総領事を表敬訪問いたしました。
生徒たちは、Orewa Collegeでの留学生活を通して学んだことや感じたことを、英語でスピーチしました。🎤🇳🇿
その後、箕谷総領事から大使館・総領事館・外交官の役割についてお話しいただき、外交の仕事や日本と世界をつなぐ役割について学びました。
最後にはQ&Aセッションも行われ、生徒たちから外交官としての経験などについて、さまざまな質問をさせていただきました。
留学の集大成にふさわしい、貴重な学びの機会となりました！ 🌏🇯🇵🇳🇿
🇯🇵🇳🇿 A Special Visit to the Consulate-General
As the culmination of our NZ Orewa Term Study Abroad Program, our students made a courtesy visit to the Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland and met with Consul General Minoya.
Our students gave speeches in English about what they learned and experienced during their time at Orewa College. 🎤🇳🇿
Consul General Minoya then gave an insightful presentation on the roles of embassies, consulates and diplomats, giving our students a deeper understanding of diplomacy and Japan’s role in the world.
The visit concluded with a Q&A session, where students asked questions about the Consul General’s experiences as a diplomat.
A truly valuable experience to cap off their study abroad journey! 🌏🇯🇵🇳🇿
