6月7日～8日にハワイからの生徒たちを歓迎しました！

6月7日(日)
シーサイドホテル江戸川にてホストファミリーと対面式を行いました。
生徒達は緊張した面持ちで本校生徒達が作った折り紙のレイで歓迎しました。

6月8日(月)
今日は本校で日本の学校生活を体験しました。
体を動かしながら日本語の授業を受けたり、剣道着に身を包んで剣道の授業、さらに書道の授業では好きな日本語や4文字熟語を掛け軸に書いて素敵なお土産になりました。

短い期間でしたがハワイの生徒と本校の生徒が意思疎通を図っている様子を見ると言葉を超えた何かが見えてきます。

9月には今度は本校生徒がIsland Pacific Academyへ留学します。
今から楽しみです!!!

🇺🇸 June 7–8 | Welcoming Our Students from Hawaii! 🇯🇵🌺

June 7 (Sun)
We held a welcome meeting with the host families at Seaside Hotel Edogawa.
Our students warmly welcomed the visitors with handmade origami leis, created by Kanto Daiichi students. Although everyone seemed a little nervous at first, it was wonderful to see new friendships beginning to form.

June 8 (Mon)
Today, the students experienced Japanese school life at Kanto Daiichi High School.

They enjoyed a Japanese language class that incorporated physical activities, participated in a kendo lesson while dressed in traditional kendo uniforms, and took part in a calligraphy class where they created hanging scrolls featuring their favorite Japanese words or four-character idioms. These unique artworks became wonderful souvenirs of their time in Japan.

Although the visit was short, watching the students from Hawaii and Kanto Daiichi communicate and connect reminded us that friendship can go beyond language barriers.

This September, it will be our students’ turn to study abroad at Island Pacific Academy.

We’re already looking forward to it! 🇯🇵🤝🇺🇸
